I'm a storyteller.  I have been a photojournalist at The Pacific Palisades Post, The Malibu Times, The Winston-Salem Journal, Southern California Sports Magazine, Charlotte Magazine, Community Arts Cafe Magazine, and American Profile Magazine.  My photographs have also been published in The Los Angeles Times, The Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The New York Post, The Associated Press, People Magazine, and Us Weekly Magazine.  Some of these images can be found on here.

In 2006 I created and curated the national exhibition A Thousand Words: Photographs by Vietnam Veterans.  It consists of photographs and quotes from veterans sharing their experiences in Vietnam.  It is now in the permanent collection at the North Carolina Museum of History and continues to travel.  My first book, Vietnam Photographs from North Carolina Veterans - The Memories They Brought Home, is based on that exhibition and was released in 2020.  The story of this project is here.
